Pick Your Poison

In a playful Halloween twist on the common saying, this series, ‘Pick Your Poison,’ transforms the concept into 3D artworks featuring the world’s deadliest plants—Henbane, Deadly Nightshade, Oleander, and Angel’s Trumpet—in bottled form rather than traditional spirits.

Solstice Edition

To mark the winter solstice, I created an additional animation spotlighting the pouring of Holly (Ilex aquifolium) into a glass.

Behind the Design

I drew inspiration from the flowers themselves, closely examining the size and color of each blossom, the intricate patterns on the blossoms and leaves, and the shape and size of any berries present. To highlight the drink’s toxicity and warn of its poisonous nature, I added a skull symbol. Furthermore, I incorporated embossing into both the label and the bottle to impart a touch of luxury.
